3. Q: How much notice do we require to place an order? A: There is no set amount of time. We take orders until we are fully booked. |
4. Q: Do any cakes require more notice than others? A: Yes. Examples: Tiered layer cakes, 3-D cakes & any cake that has an element that needs time to dry before placement on cake (fondant bows, stand-up numbers, initials & characters). |
5. Q: How do I book Carolyn's Creations? A: For most orders it only takes a phone call. Events including catering, floral, decorations or wedding cakes you must sign a contract. |
6. Q: Are there any hidden fees? A: No. We provide you with the price up front. Of course there is a 7% MS sales tax added. |
7. Q: What is the difference between buffet, served buffet & plated meals when we cater? A: Buffet is self served. Served buffet means that we will provide servers in a buffet line. Plated meal is served to your guests at their table. |
8. Q: Can I change my cake order once I have placed it? A: It depends. Some things are prepared ahead, such as: artwork, cake board sizes, dry ingredients may be premixed etc. |
